My Dad, The Secret Superhero

In 2019 as fires were burning across Australia, my husband Seb and I created a children’s book, ‘My Dad, the Secret Superhero’ to celebrate and support Australia’s secret superheroes – our Firies.

The picture book also helped children understand the sacrifice and effort many families are faced with during these difficult times. All whilst raising vital funds to help wildlife in need and the rehabilitation of the environment.

With the support of a number of businesses, the book was launched as a crowdfunding campaign with 100% of profits from the month-long period going to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. The book raised over $24,000 with $15,400 in profit.
